The following is an non exhaustive list of illegal and prohibited uses of ExpoPolis. The following acts are prohibited by law.
Racism, xenophobia, negationism, and discrimination (prison sentences). Racist remarks, propagating discrimination of sexual preferences, publishing racist pictures or insulting foreigners are forbidden on ExpoPolis.
Post on website any links to any external Internet sites that are obscene or pornographic, or display pornographic or sexually explicit material of any kind;
Use any robot, spider, site search and/or retrieval application, or other device to retrieve or index any portion of ExpoPolis; not prohibited by law.
Reformat or frame any portion of any web page that is part of ExpoPolis; not prohibited by law.
Post Material containing restricted or password only access pages, or hidden pages or images (those not linked to or from another accessible page); not prohibited by law.
Submit any Material that falsely implies sponsorship of that Material by ExpoPolis, falsify or delete any author attributions in any Materials, or promote any information that you know is false or misleading;
Transmit any viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses or other items of a contaminating or destructive nature through ExpoPolis;
Submit Material that violates the rights of others, such as Material that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or violates any right of privacy or publicity, or that is libelous or defamatory, or that directs any user, by linking or any other method, to the content of a third party without the third party's written consent;
Promote an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person's copyrighted work, such as providing pirated computer programs or videos or links to them, providing information to circumvent manufacture-installed copy-protect devices, or providing pirated music or links to pirated music files; or submit Material that is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, harassing, threatening, unlawful or promotes or encourages illegal activity.
Slander, defamation, stalking, abusing someone's name or picture, abuse of confidence, etc. are prohibited by law and subject to punishment. Therefore, using abusive language, insults, abusing someone's name or picture, slander and defamation are forbidden on ExpoPolis as well. It is strictly forbidden to publish messages or pictures with damaging, threatening, misleading, defamatory, rancorous, aggressive, racist, vulgar, denigrating, indecent, insulting, violent, obscene or pornographic content. It's also forbidden to use the site for purely political, religious or commercial purposes. References to political parties and the publishing of flags will be punished if it's clear that there are political or inflammatory purposes behind it. Discussions on political/religious points of view are allowed, if they don't degenerate.
Violation of intellectual properties. On ExpoPolis you can only publish content (pictures, text, music, films, etc.) for which you hold the necessary copyrights. You are solely responsible for obtaining these rights. ExpoPolis cannot be held liable if you do publish content for which you don't hold the rights. ExpoPolis will impose sanctions when notified of content that infringes upon the rights of third parties.
Disturbing the public order on the web site means that spamming, recruiting votes, sending unsolicited commercials or collar letters, in private or public messages, unlawfully reloading pages, flooding or writing excessively long texts, etc. can be prosecuted.
(Trying to) hack(ing) ExpoPolis or the account of a ExpoPolis visitor/exhibitor is prohibited and punishable. In this situation, we always inform the police, even when you're a minor. By committing such offences, you risk getting a prison sentence and/or monetary fine. Except for abuses such as slander and defamation, which can only be prosecuted after a complaint by the victim, ExpoPolis can initiate action to end forbidden practices.
ExpoPolis is lawfully obliged to report indictable offences to the appropriate law enforcement agency(ies).

ExpoPolis eSeminars produces and hosts sponsored webcasts and online trade shows for a variety of companies (Sponsors). All data collected during the registration for such events will be shared with those Sponsors. This data is governed by the individual Sponsor's privacy policy and may be used by the Sponsor for follow-up purposes. Similarly, ExpoPolis eSeminars will have the same access to this data as the Sponsors, and this Privacy Policy continues to govern how ExpoPolis uses the data. Third party Fairs
ExpoPolis produces and hosts fairs for a variety of companies (Organiser). All data collected during the registration for such events will be shared with those Organiser. This data is governed by the individual Organiser's privacy policy and may be used by the Organiser for follow-up purposes. Similarly, ExpoPolis will have the same access to this data as the Organiser, and this Privacy Policy continues to govern how ExpoPolis uses the data. Managing Content
ExpoPolis reserves the right to delete, move or edit any Content (including Material posted in any interactive area of ExpoPolis) that it may determine, in its sole discretion, violates this Agreement or is otherwise unacceptable. However, ExpoPolis does not and cannot review all of the Content posted by users on the Website and is not responsible for such Content. You shall remain solely responsible for all Material. Although ExpoPolis reserves the right to remove any offending Content on the Website, you understand and agree that you nonetheless may be exposed to such Material and that you further waive your right to any damages (from any party) related to such exposure. Additionally, ExpoPolis shall have the right, but not the obligation, to correct any errors or omissions in any Content, as it may determine in its sole discretion.

How your personal data are shared with third parties
Third parties can access all information intended to be made public by the visitor or exhibitor, under the conditions specified in the privacy settings. We may, however, provide access to your personal data in case of illegal use, or when we receive orders from legal authorities. Visitor/ Exhibitor Exhibitors will receive a list of visitors to the fair where they have their booth. Only the information on the visitor's id-card will be listed. Exhibitors will receive a list of visitors who have asked for information about their booth. They will also receive details about the information requested by the visitor.
Consent
As a visitor or exhibitor of ExpoPolis, you agree with the terms and conditions below either by visiting the site, or by using the site, or by registering. ExpoPolis reserves the right, in its discretion, to change or modify all or any part of this Agreement at any time, effective immediately upon notice published on ExpoPolis. Please be sure to review this Agreement periodically to ensure familiarity with the most current version. If at any time the terms and conditions of this Agreement are no longer acceptable to you, you should immediately cease all use of ExpoPolis.
Registered
By registering you agree that you are providing correct, accurate and true information, and that you have the legal competence to register. Creating an account under automated means or under false or fraudulent pretenses constitutes unauthorized use of the Website and such accounts will be terminated by ExpoPolis. Minors should have the permission of one of their parents or legal guardian before registering. In any case, you should be 13 or older to register on ExpoPolis. ExpoPolis is at liberty to cancel your visitor/exhibitorship at any time, for any reason and without prior warning. ExpoPolis may cease to provide ExpoPolis, as well as block or delete a visitor/exhibitorship at any time and without warning. In the case of a conflict with one or more other (non) visitor/exhibitors, ExpoPolis will not be liable for any damages, of any kind, in the present or in the future, anticipated or unanticipated, known or unknown, that are the result of or concern the said conflict.
Visitor/exhibitor data, and other public data
All public data cannot be in violation of any law or statute. You explicitly accept this statement and you are responsible (according to civil and criminal law) for the data, text and pictures that you publish. All data you upload or post cannot violate or infringe upon the rights of authors, patents, trademarks or trade secrets, or the property, intellectual, privacy, personality or publicity rights of a third party. All data you upload or post cannot be misleading, threatening, defamatory or tormenting.
No Endorsement
ExpoPolis does not represent or endorse the accuracy or reliability of any Content posted on any interactive area and you acknowledge that any reliance upon such Content shall be at your sole risk. Any Content placed on any interactive area by users represents the views of the user posting the statement, and does not represent the views of ExpoPolis. ExpoPolis may contain links to sites on the Internet which are owned and operated by third parties (the "External Sites"). You acknowledge that ExpoPolis is not responsible for the availability of, or the content located on or through, any External Site. You should contact the site administrator or webmaster for those External Sites if you have any concerns regarding such links or the content located on such External Sites.
Termination of Service
ExpoPolis reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to restrict, suspend or terminate your access to all or any part of ExpoPolis, including the discussion areas, at any time and without prior notice or liability, only if you have violated the terms and conditions of ExpoPolis, made an illegal and prohibited use of ExpoPolis or made any use at ExpoPolis that is prohibited by law. Conversely, you may terminate your membership of ExpoPolis at any time, for any reason. Once your membership terminates, you will have no right to use ExpoPolis. The terms of this Agreement shall survive any termination of your membership
Indemnity
ExpoPolis reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, and in such case, you agree to cooperate with ExpoPolis's defense of such claim.
Complaints procedure
You are required to report any detrimental or illegal information/public data found on our site to team@ExpoPolis.com in a timely manner. If ExpoPolis considers your complaint about content posted by another visitor/exhibitor to be justified, any offending content will be removed (text, images, information or data). The complaints procedure is in accordance with article 14 of the EU-directive 2000/31/CE concerning electronic commerce.

Access
The use of usernames, logins, passwords and/or entry codes (from now on "login data") is the sole responsibility of the user. The user is required to maintain the confidentiality and security of the login data. As part of the registration process, you will be asked to select a username and password and you will be responsible for all activities occurring under your username and for keeping your password secure. Examples of inappropriate profiles include, but are not limited to, profiles that purport to represent an animal, place, inanimate object, fictional character, or real individual who is not you. If you wish to view or change your profile, you can do so via the profile page links listed in the ExpoPolis Privacy Policy. The user is required to immediately inform ExpoPolis of a breach or abuse of login data by sending an e-mail to team@ExpoPolis.com. The e-mail has to contain the subject line 'LOGIN'.
Territorial use
THE USE OF THIS WEBSITE IS PROHIBITED IN COUNTRIES WHERE ANY PARTS OF THIS AGREEMENT ARE INVALID ACCORDING TO LOCAL LAW, WITHOUT LEADING TO THE ENTIRE OR PARTIAL INVALIDITY OF THE AGREEMENT.
Jurisdiction
This agreement and the relationship between you and this site shall be governed by the French laws without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You and ExpoPolis agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within Grasse, France.
General Conditions of Use (GCU)
Any natural person or legal entity, having access or allowing access to the ExpoPolis application ("the Application"), is required to read these General Conditions of Use and ensure compliance with them. This list is not exhaustive and includes compliance by its customers, agents, affiliates, etc.
The term ‘user’ refers to any natural person accessing the Application or granting access to another natural person.
To access the Application, the user must provide precise information, including their name, last name, and email address. Otherwise, access to the Application may be refused or suspended.
The user agrees to comply with the rules and limitations relating to the use of the Application, as set out in this document and the Application documentation.
Except in expressly authorised cases, any use or reproduction, even partial, of the Application and restrictions imposed by these General Conditions of Use, is strictly prohibited, and constitutes an infringement liable to civil and criminal proceedings.
No intellectual property rights, in terms of the Application or any of its third-party components, are assigned or granted to the user, other than the non-exclusive right to use the Application under the conditions and limits defined below, for which the user undertakes to comply with fully.
The user is only authorised to use the Application for strictly professional purposes.
The user agrees not to use the Application for purposes which may infringe the rights of third parties, in particular their intellectual property rights or their right to respect for private life.
It is the user's responsibility to ensure that their computer system is suitable for using the Application and, in particular, to ensure that they have an up-to-date browser. The Application publisher cannot be held responsible for incompatibilities between the user's computer system and the Application.
The user guarantees that any data transmitted or imported into the Application is free from errors, viruses, and any other illegal element, and that it is not likely to infringe the rights of the Application publisher or those of third parties. Consequently, the user is solely responsible for any damage caused by this data, or their own actions, to the Application publisher or to a third party, including the consequences of any claim that could be exercised by a third party as a result of the use of the Application by the user.
The user is informed that a prerequisite for access to the service is an internet connection. The user is solely responsible for the acquisition of any hardware and software required for the use of the Application, as well as any subscriptions to telecommunication services (internet access).
The user agrees to refrain from undermining the correct functioning of the platform which hosts the Application and to respect the intellectual property rights of the Application publisher and third parties.
A user account can only be used by a single natural person. This requires a username and password as part of an authentication procedure.
The usernames and passwords provided are confidential, unique, and personal to each user. So as to prevent any use by a third party, the user agrees to ensure the confidentiality and security of the access device. The user agrees not to disclose their username or password. In the event of accidental (loss, theft, etc.) or voluntary disclosure, the user agrees to inform his superiors as soon as they becomes aware and to immediately change their password and email address. Following authentication of a user’s username and password, the user will be responsible for all operations carried out under their profile.
Guarantees
It is the user's responsibility to verify the compliance of the Application with their needs, both in terms of functionality and purpose. Consequently, the Application offers no guarantee of compliance with the user's own needs, nor any guarantee that it will operate without interruption, be free of anomalies or errors, nor that any such anomalies or errors will be able to be corrected.
Security Management
The user agrees not to bypass or attempt to bypass the Application's protection systems.
Legal and Administrative authorisations
In accordance with the Application’s place of use, the user undertakes to comply with any applicable governing laws and regulations.
The user agrees to comply with all legal and regulatory rules applicable to their particular activity. They guarantee that they are in possession of all the legal and administrative authorisations required for the use and performance of their processing activities carried out by means of the Application.
Intellectual Property
In particular, the user is prohibited from:
- any reproduction, representation, dissemination or distribution of all or part of the Application or documentation, whether in exchange for payment or free of charge;
- any use of the Application or documentation, for the purposes of designing, producing, distributing, or marketing similar, equivalent or substitute products or services or similar, equivalent or substitute documentation;
- any adaptation, modification, processing or arrangement of the Application or documentation, for any reason, including the correction of errors;
- any transcription, direct or indirect, or any translation of the Application or documentation into other languages;
- any decompilation of the Application, except in cases expressly permitted by law;
- any use for unauthorised processing;
- any modification or bypassing of protection codes, in particular usernames and passwords;
- any intrusive access or attempted unauthorised intrusive access to the Application or platform.
Suspension
A user's access to the Application may be suspended, totally or partially, with immediate effect and without prior information and compensation, should:
- technical elements indicate that the confidentiality or security of a username or password have been violated or that the Application is being used, or has been used, in violation of the provisions laid out in these General Conditions of Use;
- the user have provided incorrect information;
- the user have not used the Application for more than ninety (90) days;
- civil or criminal proceedings have been initiated by a third party for acts attributable to the user.
The user will be informed of this suspension by all means possible. Any suspension does not release the user from their obligations.
